The control method comprises the following steps: pressing a second key for a long time to enable a control module to enter a power-on awakening state; entering a password to-be-set state by pressing the first key for a long time in a startup awakening state; the password is set by pressing the first key or the second key for a short time in the password to-be-set state; password input authentication is carried out by pressing the first key or the second key for a short time in the startup awakening state, if the password is input correctly, the shaver enters the startup state, and the shaver starts to work, otherwise, the shaver does not work if the password is input wrongly; and the second key is pressed for a long time again in the power-on state or the power-on awakening state to enter the power-off state. Therefore, according to the embodiment of the invention, the two keys are utilized to send different instructions to the control module, so that relatively complicated shaver locking and unlocking functions can be realized, and meanwhile, circuit components adopted for realizing the control method are low in cost, so that large-scale production and practical application of products can be ensured.
