Proximity detection device
The invention relates to a device (D) for detecting the proximity of a part (M) of a user's body and/or of a portable user device (200), intended to be housed on board a motor vehicle (V), comprising: a) a near field communication antenna (A1) configured to transmit and receive signals at a high resonant frequency selected between 3 and 30 MHz, the antenna comprises at least one winding (E1, E2, E3) extending continuously in the form of a set of bars (O1, O2... Oi, N1, N2... Ni) such that the bars have a variable capacitance connected to the antenna and the antenna is capable of generating a capacitance change in response to the approach of a part of the user's body, b) a measurement means (M2) for measuring the capacitance of the antenna in response to the approach of a part of the user's body, and measuring means for measuring a change in impedance or frequency of the antenna by electromagnetically coupling with the antenna, the measuring means having a series resonance frequency at the selected high resonance frequency and being capable of detecting proximity of the portable user device or proximity of a part of the user's body.
