The invention relates to a steel reinforcement cage hanging bar positioning device which is used for hanging a steel reinforcement cage in a steel casing and comprises a positioning wheel disc, a plurality of hanging bar holes are formed in the surface of the positioning wheel disc, and hooks are fixed to the outer edge of the positioning wheel disc. The method has the beneficial effects that the reinforcement cage is fixed to the reinforcement cage hanging bars in advance before being hung and placed, then the reinforcement cage is placed at the hole opening through a crane, accurate positioning of the reinforcement cage is completed when the hook hooks the steel casing opening, and the problems that in traditional construction, the time consumed for placing the reinforcement cage is too long, and the accuracy is not high are solved; the positioning wheel disc is fixed to hanging bars of the reinforcement cage through the clamping pieces, the lowering depth of the reinforcement cage is controlled by fixing the positioning wheel disc to the hanging bars, and the plane position of the reinforcement cage, namely the thickness of a protective layer in each direction, is controlled by penetrating the hanging bars through hole sites of the positioning wheel disc.
