The invention discloses a method for carrying out ecological restoration by adopting flotation phosphate tailings, which comprises the following steps: 1) carrying out index detection after innocent treatment; 2) carrying out anti-seepage treatment on the area planned to be subjected to ecological restoration, and laying filtrate flowing channels at the bottom every 5m; (3) the phosphate tailings subjected to innocent treatment are adopted for ecological restoration, and in the restoration process, filtrate circulation pipes are arranged at intervals and located over circulation channels; (4) collecting filtrate and leaching water generated in the repairing process through a collecting tank for utilization; (5) proper vegetation is planted in the ecologically restored area; and (6) after ecological restoration is completed, the stability and pollution indexes of the restoration area are monitored. According to the method, an application way is provided for comprehensive utilization of the phosphate tailings under the large background that the tailings ponds are only reduced but not increased, the resource utilization rate is increased, environmental pollution is reduced, and good economic benefits and social benefits are achieved.
