The invention relates to the field of screw anchors, and provides a screw anchor and a control method thereof.The screw anchor comprises a screw anchor head, a data acquisition assembly and a control assembly; the data acquisition assembly and the control assembly are arranged at the end part of the spiral anchor head; the data acquisition assembly comprises a pressure sensor and a torque sensor; the control assembly comprises a pressure controller and a torque controller, and the pressure controller is electrically connected with the pressure sensor; and the torque controller is electrically connected with the torque sensor. The method and the device are used for overcoming the defect that the bearing capacity of the screw anchor after the screw anchor is installed in place cannot be accurately predicted due to the fact that existing construction equipment cannot accurately measure and control the speed, the torque and the pressure in the installation process of the screw anchor in real time. And the control accuracy of the screw anchor is improved.
