The flagpole comprises a base fixed to an external platform, the base is hinged to the bottom end of a main pole, the main pole is connected with an electric drive mechanism, and the electric drive mechanism drives the main pole to turn over in the plane perpendicular to the external platform. By arranging the electric driving mechanism connected with the main rod, the main rod can be driven by electric energy to turn over, so that the main rod can be erected and put down without manual operation. Compared with the prior art that the main rod is manually turned over, electric driving is more efficient, workers can be prevented from climbing the deck to work, and therefore the safety risk is reduced.
