The invention discloses a building heat preservation device which comprises a plurality of spacing assemblies, a plurality of fixing nets, a plurality of heat preservation layers and an exterior decoration layer, each spacing assembly comprises a partition plate piece, each partition plate piece comprises a first partition plate, a second partition plate and a baffle, the first partition plates are connected with a building, the second partition plates are attached to and connected with the first partition plates, and the positions of the second partition plates relative to the first partition plates are adjustable; the baffle is arranged on the side, away from the building, of the second partition and rotatably connected with the second partition. The fixing net is arranged between every two adjacent spacing assemblies, the fixing net is connected with the baffles in every two adjacent spacing assemblies, and a containing cavity is defined by the fixing net, the outer wall of the building and the first partition plates, the second partition plates and the baffles in every two adjacent spacing assemblies; the heat preservation layers are arranged in the containing cavity and attached to the fixing net, and the adjacent heat preservation layers are separated by the first partition plate and the second partition plate in the height direction of the building. The exterior layer is connected with the baffle and the fixing net. The fireproof capability of the thermal insulation layer of the building can be effectively enhanced.
