The invention provides a jacking and supporting device suitable for being adjusted in multiple directions and a jacking and supporting method. The back shore equipment comprises a height adjusting assembly; the horizontal adjusting assembly is arranged at the power output end of the height adjusting assembly; and the damping adjusting type supporting assembly is arranged above the horizontal adjusting assembly, and the damping adjusting type supporting assembly is connected with the movable end of the horizontal adjusting assembly in a rotatable mode. After the damping adjusting type supporting assembly located on the upper portion of the height adjusting assembly makes contact with the to-be-supported piece, under the action of force applied by the height adjusting assembly, the damping adjusting type supporting assembly gradually and tightly fits the to-be-supported piece, and meanwhile the pitching angle is adjusted; and the damping adjusting type supporting assembly can rotate in the horizontal direction along with the movable end of the horizontal adjusting assembly so as to adjust the orientation of the damping adjusting type supporting assembly, and therefore the multi-direction adjustable jacking equipment can synchronously generate displacement in three different directions in a three-dimensional space.
