The invention discloses a preparation method of a low-water-absorption ceramic tile capable of improving the bonding strength of the ceramic tile. The preparation method comprises the following steps: A, preparing a green body layer; b, the bottom of the green body layer is placed downwards, and isolation covering glaze is sprayed to the bottom of the green body layer; the isolation covering glaze comprises the following chemical components in percentage by weight: 39 to 44 percent of SiO2, 44 to 48 percent of Al2O3, 0.1 to 0.3 percent of Fe2O3, 0.05 to 0.25 percent of TiO2, 1.5 to 2.5 percent of CaO, 2 to 3.5 percent of MgO, 0 to 0.6 percent of K2O, 3.7 to 4.3 percent of Na2O and 0.5 to 2 percent of ignition loss; c, polishing and grinding the surface of the green body layer; and D, the bottom of the isolation covering glaze layer is coated with brick bottom slurry with the specific gravity being 1.04-1.1 in a roller coating mode, and the isolation covering glaze layer is put into a kiln to be fired. According to the scheme, the isolation covering glaze layer for improving the tile paving bonding strength is additionally arranged at the bottom of the green body layer, so that the bonding strength of the tile during paving can be improved, a certain isolation effect can be achieved, and the isolation covering glaze layer is used for partially replacing existing tile bottom slurry so as to avoid the occurrence of bars and nails in the firing process; the bonding strength and the paving efficiency of the ceramic tile can be further improved.
