The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, discloses a positioning method and device of a double-curved-surface building based on BIM, and aims to solve the problem that an existing positioning mode of the double-curved-surface building is poor in universality and efficiency, and the scheme mainly comprises the steps that at least two laser positioning emitters are arranged on a construction site; constructing a BIM model of the double-curved-surface building in the BIM software, dividing the BIM model into a plurality of double-curved-surface plates according to construction requirements, and determining corresponding point locations of the laser positioning transmitters in the BIM model; in the BIM model; respectively connecting the angular point to be positioned with the corresponding point position of each laser positioning transmitter to obtain at least two connecting lines; for each connecting line, calculating included angle information of a space where the connecting line is located; and the laser emission angles of the corresponding laser positioning emitters are adjusted according to the included angle information on the construction site, and the positions of the to-be-positioned angular points are determined according to the laser line intersection points of the laser positioning emitters. The method improves the universality and efficiency of positioning, and is suitable for hyperboloid buildings.
