The invention discloses a pyrolytic carbon-phenolic resin double-matrix modified wood derived carbon composite material as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and relates to the technical field of composite materials. The method comprises the following steps: immersing a wood material containing a micro-cavity into a solution B, and heating until boiling to obtain a sample G; immersing the sample G into the solution H, standing at room temperature for 3-5 days, and preserving heat at 50-70 DEG C for 16-24 hours to obtain a sample I; and pressing the sample I under 3-5 MPa, and curing the sample I at 160-165 DEG C for 500-600 seconds to obtain the pyrolytic carbon-phenolic resin double-matrix modified wood derived carbon composite material. The pyrolytic carbon and the phenolic resin are introduced to the surface of the pyrolytic carbon-phenolic resin double-matrix modified wood-derived carbon composite material and the interior of a pipe cavity through deposition and curing, and the mechanical property of the wood-derived carbon composite material can be improved.
