The invention relates to the technical field of photocatalytic ceramics, and particularly discloses a preparation method of photocatalytic ceramics. MoO3 is dissolved by ammonia water to obtain Mo < 6 + > (molybdenum source), and Bi2O3 is dissolved by acetic acid to obtain Bi < 3 + > (bismuth source). The preparation method comprises the following steps: putting a molybdenum source and a bismuth source into a mold, heating the mold to a certain temperature, applying a certain pressure, and reacting in the mold to prepare the Bi2MoO6 ceramic. Compared with a conventional method for preparing the Bi2MoO6 ceramic, the method has the advantages that the Bi2MoO6 ceramic is prepared through direct reaction in the mold, the intermediate link of preparing the Bi2MoO6 powder is avoided, and a new method and thought are provided for preparation of the ceramic.
