The invention relates to the technical field of water conservancy projects, in particular to an engineering reservoir which comprises a reservoir body, the top of the reservoir body is sealed by a top cover, a protruding part is arranged in the center of the bottom of the reservoir body, a set of fixing rods are vertically installed in the center of the reservoir body, and hollowed-out cavities are formed in the upper ends and the lower ends of the fixing rods correspondingly; a water inlet and a water outlet are correspondingly formed in the side walls, located on the upper side and the lower side, of the hollowed-out cavity, the water outlet is located on the upper side of the protruding part, the upper end of the fixing rod extends out of a communicating hole formed in the center of the top cover, and a filtering assembly is installed in the middle of the fixing rod. The filtering assembly is used for filtering water discharged from the water inlet in the top of the fixing rod, the filtering assembly comprises a filtering frame and a filtering plate which are in sliding connection with the fixing rod, in the using process, a worker presses the filtering frame downwards, the filtering frame is supported to move upwards through the elastic force of a first elastic part, and the worker can conveniently clean impurities on the filtering frame.
