The invention relates to the technical field of refractory materials, in particular to refractory mortar glue for zirconium inlaying of a sliding plate brick and a preparation method of the refractory mortar glue. The refractory mortar glue comprises a main material and an additive, the main material comprises a corundum base material and premixed powder; the corundum base material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-34 parts of white corundum particles; 44 to 75 parts of tabular corundum particles; the premixed powder comprises the following components in parts by weight: 7-10 parts of chromium oxide powder; 1-7 parts of kyanite particles; 2-5 parts of quartz sand; and 1-3 parts of potassium feldspar powder. The additive comprises a curing agent, a water reducing agent, a binding agent and water; the curing agent accounts for 0.3-1.2% of the mass of the main material; the water reducing agent accounts for 0.2-0.8% of the mass of the main material; the binding agent accounts for 7-14% of the mass of the main material; and the water accounts for 7-14% of the mass of the main material. The refractory mortar adhesive for embedding the zirconium into the sliding plate brick, provided by the invention, is relatively excellent in adhesive property, relatively excellent in breaking strength and relatively excellent in erosion resistance.
