The invention belongs to the technical field of ocean engineering, and relates to a screw pile mounting device and method based on power provided by propellers. A feasible method is provided for installation of the screw pile in a deepwater sea area, torque needed by installation is provided by arranging a set of propellers on the upper portion of the screw pile, and it is guaranteed that the screw pile does not incline during installation through sleeve limiting. The shape of the screw pile is basically not changed, and no special requirement for an installation ship exists; and the screw pile can be quickly mounted in a deepwater sea area, and the application prospect of the screw pile is greatly expanded.
