The invention discloses an externally-hung tie wall for an ultra-large stone statue. The externally-hung tie wall comprises an externally-hung stone wall body, a steel reinforced concrete wall body and tie bars. The externally-hung stone wall is irregular in shape and is formed by splicing a plurality of externally-hung stones according to the overall appearance of the statue, in order to conveniently embed the tie bars into the externally-hung stones, grooves are formed in the upper bottom face, the left side face and the right side face of each externally-hung stone, and the grooves are filled with groove concrete. The steel reinforced concrete wall body comprises concrete, a reinforcing mesh and H-shaped steel, and the H-shaped steel is embedded into the reinforcing mesh; the tie bars are U-shaped and are formed by welding L-shaped tie bars embedded in the externally-hung stone wall body and L-shaped tie bars embedded in the steel reinforced concrete wall body and connected with the reinforcing mesh along the long ends. The external hanging type tie wall construction method is reasonable, cooperative work of stone and steel reinforced concrete can be achieved through the cohesive force of concrete and tie bars, and the lateral stiffness and the anti-seismic stability of a statue main body structure are effectively improved.
