The invention provides a control method for a side-opening electric door of a vehicle, the vehicle and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a setting instruction of the maximum opening angle of the electrically operated gate, wherein the setting instruction comprises a setting value of the maximum opening angle; if the electric door is executing the opening action, the current opening angle is obtained; and if the current opening angle is larger than the set value, the electrically operated gate is controlled to hover, and the original memory value of the maximum opening angle is updated to be the set value. According to the method, after the maximum opening angle is updated and set, the automatic opening process of the current vehicle door can be executed according to the updated maximum opening angle, and the real-time performance of electric door control is improved.
