The invention relates to a road traffic protective fence which comprises a plurality of stand columns arranged at intervals, cross beam sets arranged between every two adjacent stand columns and a plurality of rollers rotationally connected to the cross beam sets. The cross beam group is detachably arranged between every two adjacent stand columns and comprises an upper cross beam and a lower cross beam which are horizontally arranged up and down, and the cross section is rectangular after the upper cross beam, the lower cross beam and the two adjacent stand columns are connected and combined; a plurality of connecting holes are formed in the upper cross beam and the lower cross beam at intervals respectively, and a roller is connected between every two vertically-corresponding connecting holes of the upper cross beam and the lower cross beam in a rotating mode; each roller comprises a roller body filled with liquid, connecting shafts and rib plates, the connecting shafts are arranged at the two ends of each roller body respectively, the connecting shafts at the two ends extend into the connecting holes in the upper cross beam and the connecting holes in the lower cross beam respectively, and the rib plates are arranged in the roller bodies in the circumferential direction. The protective fence is light in weight, low in cost, easy to install and capable of effectively buffering and protecting the vehicle.
