The invention discloses a detachable modularized steel structure vertical connecting joint and an installation method. The connecting joint comprises a force transmission plate II, a high-strength bolt, a steel pull rod, an end plate and a connecting piece. The center of the force transmission plate II is provided with a round hole, and four corners are provided with bolt holes. The high-strength bolts penetrate through bolt holes formed in the four corners of the force transmission plate II from bottom to top and are fixedly connected with the bolt holes. The end plate is fixed at the bottom of the module column and provided with a round hole in the center.
