The invention discloses an automatic closing door and window which comprises a window frame, a window sash, a shielding curtain, a winding drum and a gravity frame, the top of the window sash is hinged to the window frame, the gravity frame is in sliding connection with the outer side face of the window sash, the lower end of the window sash is rotationally connected with the winding drum, one end of the shielding curtain is wound on the winding drum, and the other end of the shielding curtain is connected with the gravity frame. One end of the window sash is connected with the window frame, the other end of the window sash is connected with the gravity frame, the gravity frame is provided with a clamping groove, the window sash is provided with a limiting check block used for being inserted into the clamping groove, the limiting check block is connected with a first shifting rod, a water storage tank is arranged at the bottom of the outer side face of the window sash, and a buoyancy block is arranged in the water storage tank. When the buoyancy block moves upwards, the first shifting rod can be pushed to enable the limiting stop block to be separated from the clamping groove. According to the door and window capable of being automatically closed, an external power source is not needed, an original window structure does not need to be modified, and meanwhile the window sash closing sensitivity is high.
