Wherein the downwards-inserted steel column comprises a steel column and a steel reinforced concrete column, the steel reinforced concrete column is located below the steel column, the steel reinforced concrete column comprises a steel rib and a concrete column, the steel rib extends in the vertical direction and is embedded in the concrete column, the steel rib comprises a transition section and a main body section which are connected, and the transition section is connected between the steel column and the main body section; in the vertical direction, the size of the upper end of the transition section is larger than that of the lower end of the transition section, the size of the body section is smaller than that of the steel column, and the size of the portion, corresponding to the body section, of the concrete column is smaller than that of the upper end of the concrete column. The cross section area of the part, corresponding to the main body section, of the downwards-inserted steel column is small, and the underground usable space of a building can be increased.
