The invention discloses a guide-rail-free hydraulic climbing formwork device and a construction method thereof. The guide-rail-free hydraulic climbing formwork device comprises a supporting system, a climbing device, an upper climbing frame, a lower hanging bracket and a comprehensive large formwork system. The supporting system comprises a conical bolt sleeve, a through-wall screw, a cushion block, a matched nut and a suspension device. The conical bolt sleeve and the through-wall screw rod are pre-buried in concrete; the suspension device is connected with a bolt sleeve through a high-strength bolt and a conical bolt sleeve. The device only needs to be mounted and dismounted once, can climb along with the construction of a main body structure, does not need to be hoisted by a tower crane, saves labor, improves the effect of the tower crane, saves project cost, and is remarkable in economic benefit.
