The invention relates to a method for designing the mix proportion of high-durability self-compacting concrete containing metakaolin. The method comprises the following steps: determining the compressive strength and slump expansion degree value of the self-compacting concrete according to engineering requirements; determining the total amount of a powder cementing material required for preparing the self-compacting concrete; determining the ratio of cement replaced by metakaolin, the cement consumption and the metakaolin consumption; determining the water consumption required by the self-compacting concrete; determining the dosage of a water reducing agent; determining the amount of coarse aggregate and the amount of fine aggregate; and calculating the dosage of each component of the self-compacting concrete and preparing the self-compacting concrete for testing. By introducing the efficiency coefficient of the metakaolin, the invention provides the design method for the mix proportion of the self-compacting concrete containing the metakaolin, and the problem that engineering technicians are difficult to design the self-compacting concrete containing the metakaolin according to engineering requirements is solved.
