Method of additive manufacturing of tower structures with wound polymer reinforcement components
A method of manufacturing a tower structure includes printing and depositing one or more printed layers of a wall of the tower structure via a printhead assembly of an additive printing system. The method further includes unwinding the at least one continuous roll of reinforcing material to form at least one continuous layer of reinforcing ring member, the reinforcing material comprising a pultruded polymeric material. Further, the method includes placing at least one continuous reinforcing ring component layer on top of the one or more printed layers of the wall of the tower structure. Further, the method includes printing and depositing, via a printhead assembly of the additive printing system, one or more additive printed layers of a wall of the tower structure on top of the at least one continuous reinforcing ring component layer.

Method of additive manufacturing of tower structures with wound polymer reinforcement components
A method of manufacturing a tower structure includes printing and depositing one or more printed layers of a wall of the tower structure via a printhead assembly of an additive printing system. The method further includes unwinding the at least one continuous roll of reinforcing material to form at least one continuous layer of reinforcing ring member, the reinforcing material comprising a pultruded polymeric material.
