Environment-friendly road tamping equipment comprises a base and a tamping machine installed on the base, and a tamping head of the tamping machine penetrates through a tamping hole formed in the base and can move up and down in the vertical direction; the base is provided with a protection mechanism, the protection mechanism comprises a groove formed in the bottom of the base, and the groove is used for forming a closed enclosure on the peripheral side and the side, away from the ground, of a tamping head of the tamping machine; a plurality of groups of air outlet holes communicated with the groove are formed in the base, and dustproof nets are arranged at the sections of the air outlet holes; a spraying assembly working towards the ground is arranged in the groove, the spraying assembly comprises a spraying ring and a water tank which are fixedly connected in the groove, the spraying ring is arranged on the periphery of the tamping hole, a plurality of water outlets provided with spraying heads are evenly distributed in the bottom of the spraying ring, and the water outlet end of the water tank communicates with a water inlet of the spraying ring. The road tamping equipment can solve the problems that when existing tamping equipment conducts road tamping, a large amount of flying dust and fallen broken stone can be generated, and consequently air quality is damaged and human health is harmed.
