The present invention relates to a clamp (1) and a clamp mounting device, and more particularly, but not exclusively, to a terrace plate clamp for fixing a terrace plate to a support structure and to a device for mounting a terrace plate clamp. The clamp comprises a body having an inner portion (3) made of a first material and an outer portion (4) made of a second material, the body having first and second retaining means (8), the first retaining means being resiliently movable between an engaged position, in which the first retaining means is movable relative to the second retaining means, and a disengaged position, in which the second retaining means is movable relative to the first retaining means. The clamp comprises a body (1) having a first retaining device (2), which engages in the recess of the terrace to provide a bias to a portion of the recess, and a disengaged position, in which the first retaining device is not engaged inside the recess of the terrace and freely extends from the body, the body further having receiving means (5) for receiving the fastener to fasten the clamp to the support (5).
