The invention relates to the field of asphalt concrete preparation, in particular to drying equipment and method for asphalt concrete preparation. The invention provides drying equipment for asphalt concrete preparation, which comprises a drying tank, a plurality of feeding mechanisms distributed around the center of the drying tank are mounted at the top of the drying tank, and a stirring mechanism for mixing raw materials is mounted in the drying tank. The bottom of the drying tank is provided with a flexible material overturning mechanism for pushing asphalt concrete raw materials to be overturned up and down. The single driving source drives the stirring mechanism to mix raw materials, and the stirring mechanism is in linkage fit with the feeding mechanism and the reciprocating lifting mechanism through the transmission mechanism, so that simultaneous feeding, dispersing and mixing of various raw materials are realized; and the raw materials are synchronously heated inside and outside in cooperation with the hollow stirring rods and the heating coil which are distributed on the inner side and the outer side of the drying tank, and feeding, drying, mixing and heating of the aggregate, the mineral powder and the filler can be achieved only through one device.
