The invention discloses a suction caisson for installing a suction penetration type plate anchor and a using method, and relates to the field of ocean floating platforms, the suction caisson can adjust the burial depth of the suction penetration type plate anchor when the suction penetration type plate anchor is installed, a plurality of baffles are arranged at the bottom of the suction caisson, and the baffles are arranged on the bottom of the suction caisson.
