Novel offshore logistics anchoring hub
The present application provides a floating structure for mooring a vessel in a body of water, the floating structure comprising: a hull having a plurality of dampers disposed on lateral sides or corners of the hull; a plurality of piles erected in the body of water around the periphery of the hull, where each of the piles includes a guide plate having one or more guide surfaces for coupling to at least one damper, one or more auxiliary piles, each of the guide plates having one or more guide surfaces for coupling to the at least one damper, and one or more auxiliary piles connected to the piles through a truss structure and partially embedded in the body of water, the hull being coupled in a vertically slidable manner to the plurality of piles by slidably coupling dampers to corresponding guide surfaces of guide plates on the piles. The present application also provides a plurality of floating structures joined to form a water-based hub for use as a novel offshore logistics anchoring hub.
