The invention relates to a soil layer settlement displacement monitoring device and method, and the device mainly comprises an acceleration sensor which monitors soil layer displacement direction information and transmits the information to a main controller; the magnetic displacement monitoring module is used for monitoring the magnetic change of the soil layer, forming a wake-up signal and sending the magnetic change information and the wake-up signal to the main controller; the main controller is used for receiving the information of the acceleration sensor and the magnetic displacement monitoring module and analyzing and storing the information; the main controller is connected with an upper computer through the wireless transmission module; the upper computer is used for displaying the information transmitted by the main controller; and the power supply module provides electric energy for the speed sensor, the main controller and the wireless transmission module. Data transmission is achieved, and power consumption can be reduced.
