According to the method, renewable, sustainable, low-cost and easily available moso bamboos are cut into blocky bamboo aggregates to replace inorganic coarse aggregates such as gravels, pebbles and ceramsite, the novel bamboo aggregate asphalt mixture is prepared through mixing, the utilization rate of bamboo wood is greatly increased, raw material shortage caused by excessive excavation of building raw materials such as the gravels is solved, and the production cost is reduced. And meanwhile, the pavement performance such as the structural temperature stability, the rutting resistance, the fatigue performance and the crack resistance of the asphalt mixture are remarkably improved.
