The invention discloses a butt-joint mounting device for hoisting and positioning a continuous steel box girder, which comprises a stabilizing mechanism arranged below a hoisting frame body and guide detection mechanisms arranged on two sides of a bracket, and the bracket is provided with a cushion block for supporting the steel box girder; after a hook arranged on the lifting frame body is connected with a lifting lug arranged on the top surface of the steel box girder, the stabilizing mechanism elastically abuts against the top surface of the steel box girder; after the steel box girder is positioned and hoisted to a first preset height above the support, the steel box girder continues to move downwards to a second preset height, whether the steel box girder makes contact with the guide detection mechanism or not is detected before the steel box girder moves downwards to the second preset height, if yes, the position of the steel box girder is adjusted, and if not, the steel box girder continues to move downwards to be guided through the guide detection mechanism. The stabilizing mechanism can improve the hoisting stability and safety of the steel box girder, the guiding detection mechanism can detect and guide downward movement of the steel box girder before the steel box girder makes contact with the cushion block, and the accuracy of the mounting position of the steel box girder is guaranteed.
