In the emergency disposal process of the barrier lake, the slope surface covering film is removed step by step, the slope surface is exposed, and under the scouring and undercutting action of discharged water flow, the slope surface is damaged, the gabion collapses, and the barrier dam breaks from high to low step by step. Through the method, the one-time outburst process of a high-risk barrier lake with a large height is decomposed into a plurality of small barrier lake sequential outburst processes, the flow and time relation curve of the outburst process is also changed into a multi-peak type from a single-peak type, the outburst height is reasonably set, the peak value discharge flow of each stage of outburst can be controlled within an allowable range, and the outburst rate of each stage of outburst can be controlled within the allowable range. And flood disasters are avoided.
