The invention provides a sponge city road water storage and drainage system which comprises a drainage channel, a collection box, a cutting part and a waterwheel, the collection box is arranged on the drainage channel and communicates with the drainage channel, external water flows into the drainage channel through the collection box, the cutting part is located in the collection box, and the waterwheel is located in the collection box. The cutting part is rotationally connected with the collecting box, the waterwheel is arranged in the drainage channel and is in transmission connection with the cutting part, external water flow drives the waterwheel, and the waterwheel drives the cutting part to rotate. According to the fallen leaves needing to be frequently cleaned in the filter screen, the cutting piece is designed in the collecting box and is in transmission connection with the waterwheel, the waterwheel is driven by water flow flowing out of the collecting box so as to drive the cutting piece to cut the fallen leaves in the collecting box, and the fallen leaves are changed into small-size broken leaves to enter the discharging channel along with the water flow to be discharged.
