The invention belongs to the technical field of traffic protection devices, and discloses a road traffic safety warning protection device which comprises a suspended connecting base, a plurality of telescopic supporting beams are connected to the peripheral side of the suspended connecting base, and the suspended connecting base is provided with a fixing base through each supporting beam. Each fixing seat and each supporting beam jointly form a horizontal supporting structure which is used for enabling the suspended connecting seat to be suspended above a road pit for blocking; the fixing base is provided with a containing cavity used for being filled with a balance weight material, and a filling opening communicating with the containing cavity is formed in the top of the fixing base. The top of each fixing base is further provided with a guardrail inserting structure, the guardrail inserting structures are used for installing guardrails, and when the guardrails are installed on the fixing bases through the guardrail inserting structures, all the guardrails jointly form an annular guardrail structure in an enclosing mode. A structure which can be suspended above a road pit to prevent pedestrians and small vehicles from falling into the road pit can be formed, and stable road holding force can be provided through the fixing base.
