An apparatus for controlling a faucet includes: a first temperature sensor and a second temperature sensor that measure temperatures of hot water and cold water, respectively; a heating water tank that heats the hot water supplied from the hot water pipe through a heater provided therein and stores the heated water; a third temperature sensor that measures the temperature of the heated water; an electronic valve that, based on the temperature of the hot water measured by the first temperature sensor and a desired temperature set by a user, adjusts a mixing ratio of supply water to be mixed to discharge discharge water having a temperature corresponding to the desired temperature set by the user after selecting two of heating the hot water, the cold water, and the hot water supplied from the hot water direct supply pipe; the fourth temperature sensor is used for measuring the temperature of the discharged water; a flow rate sensor for measuring the flow rate of the discharge water; and a controller that controls driving of the heater and driving of the electronic valve.
