The construction method comprises the following steps that a plurality of preset pier areas are arranged between two bridge abutments; a pier is poured in the preset pier area; temporary supporting frames are erected on the two sides of the constructed bridge pier; supporting point steel beams are erected on the two sides of each constructed pier, and the supporting point steel beams are connected with the temporary supporting frames; connecting steel beams are erected on the two sides of the fulcrum steel beam and connected with the temporary supporting frame, the connecting steel beams are provided with heavy steel beams and light steel beams, ballasting objects are arranged on the light steel beams, and the weights of the heavy steel beams are balanced through the ballasting objects; connection of the connecting steel beams between the adjacent bridge piers is completed; connection of the connecting steel beams between the bridge pier and the bridge abutment is completed.
