The invention discloses a suction type barrel-shaped foundation structure and a construction method thereof. The foundation structure comprises at least three barrel-shaped foundation structures and a jacket structure, the barrel-shaped foundation is arranged in a triangular or rectangular shape and is connected with the jacket structure through grouting; supporting rods are arranged between the adjacent cylindrical foundations, the supporting rods are connected through steel pipes, and the formed limiting steel frame is of a permanent structure or a temporary detachable structure. The construction method specifically comprises the steps that firstly, the barrel type foundation structure is constructed, the foundation is evenly injected to the designed elevation through a suction pump, the construction levelness is well controlled, and grouting of common-strength slurry is completed; hoisting the jacket structure to enable the grouting connection section steel pipe of the structure to be inserted into the steel pipe at the upper part of the cylindrical foundation structure; and finally, grouting connection construction is conducted, and the flange face levelness of the jacket structure is measured again. The invention relates to a suction type barrel-shaped foundation structure and a construction method thereof. The suction type barrel-shaped foundation structure and the construction method thereof are particularly suitable for high-capacity fan foundations in complex soil layers and deepwater sea areas.
