The invention provides a curtain wall construction method, which belongs to the technical field of constructional engineering, and comprises the following steps: according to the arrangement of an external facade curtain wall keel of a building, carrying out grid division optimization on a whole aluminum plate curtain wall so as to form a plurality of aluminum plate units, sequentially mounting the plurality of aluminum plate units on the keel, and simultaneously connecting two adjacent aluminum plate units, therefore, the whole aluminum plate curtain wall is formed; the whole aluminum plate curtain wall is divided and optimized into the multiple aluminum plate units, the size of each aluminum plate unit is smaller, hoisting is easier, the fixing points are arranged between each aluminum plate unit and the keel, the larger the number of the aluminum plate units is, the more the corresponding fixing points are, and therefore the whole aluminum plate curtain wall formed by the multiple aluminum plate units is installed more stably.
