The invention discloses a road multifunctional combined traffic signal pole and a use method thereof, and the traffic signal pole comprises a traffic signal pole body which is provided with a street lamp assembly, a signal lamp assembly, a sensing assembly and a driving assembly at the upper part; lines of the street lamp assembly, the signal lamp assembly and the sensing assembly are downwards connected with the driving assembly through the interior of the traffic signal rod body; the fixed handrail is connected with the lower part of the traffic signal pole body through a bracket; the damping assembly is provided with a buffer sleeve rotationally mounted at the lower part of the traffic signal rod body and a movable sleeve rotationally mounted on the fixed handrail; the outer side of the buffer sleeve and the outer side of the movable sleeve are each of an elastic structure, damping bodies are correspondingly arranged between the traffic signal rod body and the fixed handrail, and when the buffer sleeve and the movable sleeve are impacted to rotate or deform, the damping bodies act on the buffer sleeve and the movable sleeve for friction speed reduction. According to the invention, multi-stage buffering of the traffic signal rod body is realized, and the traffic signal rod body is effectively protected.
