The invention discloses geopolymer concrete based on coal cinder and a preparation method of the geopolymer concrete, and the geopolymer concrete comprises the following components in parts by mass: 400-450 parts of coal cinder; 180 to 230 parts of an alkali activator; 800 to 900 parts of fine aggregate; 800 to 900 parts of coarse aggregate; 1-20 parts of water; wherein the coal cinder needs to be pretreated, specifically, the coal cinder is ground through a ball mill till the particle size is 30-80 microns, then the coal cinder is placed in an electric furnace to be subjected to heat treatment, and the coal cinder is water-cooled to the room temperature. The geopolymer concrete based on coal cinder provided by the invention has good compression resistance, wear resistance and frost resistance, is high in early strength, and can be applied to projects needing to be put into use quickly.
