A disclosed road roller for asphalt concrete pavement construction comprises a vehicle body, the front side of the vehicle body is fixedly connected with a mounting rack, the inner side of the mounting rack is provided with a compaction roller, an inner cavity of the compaction roller is fixedly provided with a main shaft in a penetrating manner, and the position, close to the left end, of the edge of the outer side of the main shaft is fixedly sleeved with a first grooved wheel; the road roller comprises a mounting frame, a fixed pipe is arranged on the front side of the mounting frame, an open groove is formed in the top of the fixed pipe, a screw rod is arranged in an inner cavity of the fixed pipe, and two discharging pipes are fixedly connected to the bottom of the fixed pipe in an inserted mode. The scraping plate scrapes off concrete or asphalt adhered to the compaction roller, and the scraped concrete or asphalt slides to the inner cavity of the fixed pipe from the scraping plate under the action of gravity, so that the asphalt or concrete is prevented from adhering to the outer side of the compaction roller to influence the subsequent compaction work, and the normal operation of the compaction work is guaranteed.
