The invention provides an ancient tower inclination rectification method for manually regulating and controlling foundation settlement, which comprises the following steps of: constructing a first diaphragm wall and a second diaphragm wall in the direction opposite to the inclination direction of a tower body, excavating earthwork between the first diaphragm wall and the second diaphragm wall to form a working space, installing a plurality of length-adjustable inner supports in the working space, the lengths of the inner supports are adjusted from bottom to top to shorten the inner supports, and the inner supports from bottom to top become shorter and shorter; therefore, the tower body is driven to tilt back in the direction opposite to the inclination direction of the tower body. And after the inner support is adjusted for one round from bottom to top in the first round and the tower body stops tilting back, the adjustment of the inner support in the next round is repeated according to the tilting-back effect of the tower body until the tower body is aligned. In the rectifying process of the tower body, the bearing soil layer at the bottom of the tower footing is not excessively disturbed, and the rectifying purpose is achieved by means of the change of peripheral stress under the condition that the bearing capacity of the original tower footing is not changed in the rectifying process of the tower body.
