The invention relates to the technical field of fences, in particular to an electric fence which comprises two groups of fixing seats, fixing rods are fixedly connected to the tops of the fixing seats, a plurality of fence rods are detachably mounted between the fixing rods, ground inserts are mounted at the bottoms of the fixing seats, and mounting blocks are fixedly connected to the tops of the ground inserts. A buffer assembly is arranged between the mounting block and the fixing base, and a fixing assembly is arranged in the ground plug. In the invention, in the process that the fence rod is impacted to drive the fixed seat to deflect, by means of the fixed assembly, on one hand, the connection fixity between the ground plug and the soil ground can be further improved, and the problem that the ground plug is separated from the soil ground when the fence rod is impacted is prevented; and on the other hand, the buffering assembly is matched to conduct multi-stage continuous buffering on deflection impact force of the fixing base, and it is ensured that the fence does not topple over when being impacted.
