The invention relates to a method for operating a drive train (2) of an electrically driven work machine (1) comprising a control device (3) controlling the drive train (2), the control device (3) being designed to receive and evaluate input commands from a vehicle computer (4) via a CAN interface (5), the input commands comprise at least a current braking state, a current pedal position, a current shift lever position and one of a plurality of predefined dynamic levels stored in the control device (3), each dynamic level plotting an individual speed profile that varies over time, the driveline (2) is driven depending on a dynamic level transmitted to the control device (3) and selected via the input command. The invention also relates to a control device designed to carry out the method according to the invention.
