The preparation method of the high-strength aluminum nitride ceramic substrate comprises the following steps: (1) mixing modified aluminum nitride powder, a sintering aid and an organic solvent, carrying out primary ball milling for 12-24 hours, and drying to obtain powder; (2) mixing the powder obtained in the step (1), modified ethyl cellulose and a dispersing agent, carrying out secondary ball milling for 12-24 hours, and then vacuumizing and defoaming to obtain ceramic slurry; and (3) carrying out tape casting on the ceramic slurry obtained in the step (2) to obtain a green belt, and then slicing, laminating, degumming and sintering to obtain the high-strength aluminum nitride ceramic substrate. The prepared high-strength aluminum nitride ceramic substrate has good bending strength and fracture toughness, and popularization and application of the ceramic substrate are facilitated.
