Vortex vibration suppression device and method
The invention discloses a vortex vibration suppression device which is used for being installed on a long and thin structure body of a bridge and comprises a skin, a monitoring mechanism and a control mechanism. The skin is installed on the long and thin structure body in the length direction of the long and thin structure body to form a bulge, and the skin can deform under the certain stress effect. The monitoring mechanism is used for sensing an external flow field environment and obtaining vibration displacement, wind speed and wind direction information of different positions of the slender structure main body; the control mechanism is connected with the skin and the monitoring mechanism and used for receiving information of the monitoring mechanism and applying force to the skin at the position to change the appearance of the skin when the vibration displacement response at the position exceeds a limiting value. The invention further provides a vortex-induced vibration suppression method adopting the vortex-induced vibration suppression device. The real-time incoming flow condition of the long and thin structure body can be monitored, the aerodynamic force appearance of the cylinder is adjusted in real time according to the incoming flow wind speed and direction, and therefore the optimal vortex vibration restraining effect is achieved under different working conditions.
