The invention relates to a bridge deck widening method of a double-layer highway-railway combined construction steel truss girder and a double-layer bridge, and relates to the technical field of bridge design, and the method comprises the following steps: obtaining a bridge deck widening length according to bridge deck design parameters; obtaining the maximum design length which is kept stable when the third upper-layer bridge surface and the fourth upper-layer bridge surface are supported by the supporting inclined rods; whether the maximum design length of the third upper-layer bridge floor and the fourth upper-layer bridge floor which keep stable meets the bridge floor widening length or not is checked; if the design requirement is not met, the supporting inclined rods are reinforced, when the maximum design length of the third upper-layer bridge floor and the fourth upper-layer bridge floor which are kept stable after reinforcement does not meet the bridge floor widening length, the third upper-layer bridge floor and the fourth upper-layer bridge floor keep the maximum design length after reinforcement, and the distance between the trusses is adjusted; the lengths of the first upper-layer bridge floor and the second upper-layer bridge floor are changed, so that the upper-layer bridge floors meet bridge floor design parameters. The conditions that the internal force of the rod pieces is increased and a large number of supporting rod pieces need to be installed due to adjustment of the space between the trusses are reduced or eliminated.
