The invention discloses a roof structure with an anti-cold-bridge gutter system on the side edge and a construction method thereof.The roof structure comprises a main body frame, a parapet wall is arranged on the periphery of the main body frame, and a layer of top plate is arranged on the top face of the main body frame; a gutter system is arranged on one side of the top of the main body frame in an overhanging mode to form a top side edge extending structure of the main body frame structure, a roof with gutters on the side edges is arranged on the top plate and in the gutter system in a pouring mode, and building gaps are reserved between the parapet wall and the main body frame and between the parapet wall and the gutter system. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, the main body frame is constructed; secondly, the cantilever assembly is assembled; thirdly, the coaming and the bottom plate are installed; fourthly, the L-shaped heat preservation plate is installed; fifthly, gutter keels are installed; sixthly, safe vertical rods are erected; seventhly, the bearing beam heat preservation assembly is installed. The system is high in safety and high in convenience, and meets the drainage and heat preservation requirements of a large roof.
