The invention discloses a construction method of a large-span cantilever steel truss structure in a limited space, which comprises the following steps of: dividing the steel truss structure into an odd number of sections of assembly units in the span direction; wall attaching assemblies are arranged on structural beams and structural columns of the main body structure; temporary supporting jig frames are arranged below the steel truss structure, the temporary supporting jig frames are arranged below the sections of assembling units at intervals, the assembling units provided with the sections of the temporary supporting jig frames are constructed with the temporary supporting jig frames as supporting points, and the assembling units are fixed to structural beams or structural columns of the main body structure through wall attaching assemblies; assembling units at the sections without the temporary supporting jig frames are constructed, and the assembling units are fixed to structural beams or structural columns of the main body structure through wall attaching assemblies, so that the steel truss structure forms a whole; and dismantling the temporary supporting jig frame. The modular steel structure assembly construction scheme is adopted, the construction cost is reduced, the construction period is shortened, and the purposes of reducing cost and improving efficiency are achieved.
